How to use Wet hair and remove excess water. Apply a quarter sized amount to the scalp first, then coat the lengths from top to ends. Massage the scalp gently with your fingertips, applying in a downward motion rather than rubbing side to side, to protect your curl pattern. Rinse thoroughly in a downward direction.
